The last week of September commemorates Sea Otter Awareness Week. On Wednesday, Sept. 23, the Seymour Center will be hosting a talk titled, Sea Otter Survival Story: How Lawsuits and Oil Spills Have Replaced Spears and Guns.
Kim Steinhardt, a former administrative law judge, will lead this special presentation on how the sea otter population dropped to 3,000 individuals and what the future holds for these furry sea critters.
