SCW: Name? Hometown? Currently reside?
Linda Diane: My name is Linda Diane. I was born in Georgia, moved here from Florida, and now live in beautiful Santa Cruz.
SCW: Oh wow and East Coaster, what brought you to Santa Cruz form across the country?
Linda Diane: I graduated college and needed to move out of the college town to find work, because in a college town everyone is looking for entry-level positions. If I had to move, I figured why not Cali. Its beautiful
SCW: Yes it is! Where did you attend college and what was your major?

Linda: I went to The University of Florida and majored in Anthropology and concentrated on Archaeology
SCW: Wow, so brains and beauty! You’re a double threat! So what is you favorite part about California and more particularly Santa Cruz so far?
Linda Diane: I love being by the ocean, and the landscape is unreal! Its like paradise for me. I love Santa Cruz for all its quirks. Everything and everyone is so different here, and it’s not too hard to fit in. Ive made a lot of friends here…some really cool and interesting people. So I guess I would say its the people and the water that make Santa Cruz so awesome.

SCW:We at SC Waves agree 100% with you! So have you tried surfing yet?
Linda Diane: Haha no… I’m afraid of fish. And the whole shark thing freaks me out! I try to go to the beach everyday, it’s kind of my church, but I don’t get in the water. The water has a calming affect on me. When I go there, I remind myself of everything that I am thankful for, everyday. It keeps me positive and always looking toward the future and never the past. So I appreciate it and love it, but never get in it!
SCW: Well definitely safer from sharks on land! So switching it up a little bit. Do you have your Halloween costume picked out yet?
Linda Diane: Yes I do! I love Halloween. It’s probably my favorite holiday!!! It’s a cat costume. It seems every year when I get a new costume, it always seems to be some kind of cat for some reason. I think next year, maybe Ill be cat woman.

SCW: Haha nice we are mostly dog people over here but cats are cool too! What is your favorite Halloween costume all time?
Linda Diane: I’m a dog person too, I’m allergic to cats actually, which is ironic. I like the love that only a dog can give you- unconditional and always there waiting for you. Cats are so independent, and don’t really need anyone to take care of them (maybe that’s why I dress as a cat every year lol). My favorite Halloween costume would probably be…one year I dressed up as an ostrich jockey ha! I had this huge inflatable ostrich around me and it looked like I was riding around on it. It was super funny, but kinda cold! It had this fan that kept it inflated, but the fan was constantly blowing on my legs keeping me ice cold. You should have seen peoples faces when I rolled up on the ostrich!

SCW: Well that might be the most original costume I have ever heard of. So the way you talk about dogs leads me to believe you a a little furry friend of your own. Would you like to tell us about your puppy?
Linda Diane: I do have a puppy smile His name is Biggie Smalls, and he just turned 1 last week.
He’s a french bulldog with a huge personality!
SCW: Aww, he sounds awesome! Well we are getting short on time. Would you like to give some shout outs to your peeps before we go?
Linda Diane: Thanks to all the people here in Santa Cruz that have made me feel welcome the past couple of years. Thank you to CruzMatik who has jump started my modeling career. And thank you to all my friends (whom I consider my family) for all the love and support.
