Name: Palapas Restaurant y Cantina

Tonight I decided to take my daughter to Palapas, a restaurant the Locals have been going to for 20 years.  I was quickly greeted by Angie a local waitress who brought us chips and salsa along with a couple beverages.  My daughter and I both agreed that the salsa was fantastic.  As I looked over to the bar, we were then greeted by Austin and Jeff the two local bartenders. While waiting for our food I couldn't help but notice the flat screens with a baseball game on and the spectacular views of the ocean.  It doesn't get much better than that.  Then the food arrives.  We had the Quesadilla con Pollo, that would be the chicken quesadilla.  I thought the flavor was incredible a good blend of cheese along with chicken, sour cream and just the perfect amount of guacamole.  
Palapas is a place where the loyal locals have been going for years, the food and atmosphere is fantastic.  I would give this place a 9 out of 10.  

Mondays: from 5-8:30 pm. is Taco Night.  $2.00 Tacos and $2.00 Bud Drafts. A killer deal!
