Six Sundays out of the summer, an art and music fest is held in Capitola Village at Esplanade Park. Last Sunday July 16, visitors enjoyed local artists specializing in paintings, jewelry, photography, woodwork, clothing, and more. The event was from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is sponsored by the Capitola Art and Cultural Commission. A live performance from Singing Wood Marimba band had people dancing and jamming out by the beach from 2-4 p.m. A good time was had by all on the hot Sunday afternoon! Upcoming Sunday Art and Music at the Beach dates are: July 30, August 6, and August 20.
